The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Claire & Holden Put a Target on Audra’s Back

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers divulge that feisty Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) turns to Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) following a fight with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) over Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

All of the emotional bloodshed takes place during the week of September 1-5 when nepo babe Kyle discovers he’s made a big mistake telling Claire he wants to marry her.

Kyle is desperate to prove to Claire that he wants her, and not Audra. Thus, he has the family jeweler drop in, picks a bauble, and imagines spending the rest of his life in bliss.

Except that Claire wanted to repair their relationship more slowly, not rush into marriage. She rightfully assumes that his guilty conscience is at play and stops the cad in his tracks.

Ironically, after the blow up Kyle turns to his parents for advice.

Kyle Should Have Listened the First Time

Before the proposal Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) tried to get Kyle to slow his roll, but Romeo would not listen.

If he had heeded their advice he and Claire would not be at odds.

Instead, Kyle is heartbroken and Claire turns to Holden for support. Holden and Claire have been each other’s pity party pals and this time is no different.
When Claire’s dad died Kyle was off in Nice with Audra and Holden consoled her. Then, when he learned his best friend died, she was there for him.

Holden and Claire go From Strength to Strength

Claire is incendiary when she sees Holden and does not hold back her venom for Audra. Does it seem like the show is pushing Colden together—because it sure does to us! They both have painful histories with Audra and this will be the thing they focus on going forward.

But if a little romance bursts forth, don’t say we didn’t warn you. On the September 3 episode fans will see Holden and Claire talk about their mutual nemesis.

Audra Has Buckets of Enemies
