The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack & Billy Plot, Amanda’s Mission Impossible, Claire’s Bling

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 29 tease the return of Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) at the same time that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) snitches about Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) plan to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) promotes Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).

Things are Rock and Rolling in GC

Nikki is trying to get Claire’s mind off of her relationship woes with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Little by little, Kyle is admitting to more and more dirt that went down in Nice with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

He still hasn’t come completely clean, and we’ll have to wait and see how Claire responds to him serially omitting the truth when that day comes. In the meantime, Kyle tries to sweep his mess under the rug with a sparkly distraction: an engagement ring.

The move has desperation written all over it, and we suspect that Claire will be sus when he proposes with a big rock.

Amanda Is Back for Cane

Elsewhere, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is back in town at Cane’s behest. Will she be tasked with handling his blackmail dilemma? As his lawyer, Amanda will have her hands full trying to neutralize Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) blackmail scheme.

With Amanda back, we predict that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants a favor.

What Happens Next in Genoa City?

Cane told Red that he is backing off his world domination tour, and Phyllis could not be more unhappy. She was especially looking forward to sticking it to Victor. But is Cane bluffing?

Phyllis could pressure Amanda to convince Cane to move forward with his takeover plots. But as for Billy, he’s not convinced that Cane is backing down.

Billy tells Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Cane giving up his plan to ruin them and we predict that Jack will also be skeptical. Jack has more experience in the business arena than Billy, but not by much. Maybe the brothers will succeed in snookering Cane?
