The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Won’t Wait Forever as Taylor Celebrates Too Soon

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) got what she wanted in Italy, but her life was threatened. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) didn’t anticipate making a promise to recommit to the greatest love of his life, but did.

Incredible drama played out while Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) remained behind in Los Angeles, California. She decided not to join the latest Forrester fashion junket, instead staying home.

Taylor’s trust in Ridge was based on his accepting her hurried engagement offer. The fact that she had to reverse the ask highlighted the weak position she was in. What she doesn’t know is that her position has weakened.

Will Nick Marone Be Able To Help?

Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) had a grand plan. He was going to bowl Brooke over with the beauty of Italy. As was true in the past, Nick also intended to use the allure of the sea and his boating skills.

Well, Nick botched the romantic effort badly. That was an arguably weak point in the plot, as the steering issue on the boat Nick commanded had to fail to throw Brooke overboard.

Thankfully, she wasn’t killed. Nick hit his head but wasn’t badly hurt either. The worst possible result happened for Wagner’s character, as Ridge just so happened to see the boating incident and swam to Brooke’s rescue. That leaves Nick in a weakened position unless something unusual happens.

Ridge Forrester Delays The Inevitable

Ridge told Brooke that he would fix it while holding her after administering CPR. His life-saving effort prevented Brooke from drowning after she fell off Nick’s boat.

Of course, Brooke should never have been lounging on the back of Nick’s boat while he was sailing it at a good rate of speed. A responsible seaman wouldn’t have allowed her to do that either. But such was the soapy tale.

Not much has developed since everyone returned to LA. There have been some conversations, and Nick offered apologies, with no climax leading to a definitive decision on anyone’s part. None of that is surprising to longtime viewers who know that Ridge has often traded Brooke for Taylor and vice versa, with both ladies letting him do so because he is the love of their life.

Taylor Hayes Isn’t Prepared For Repeat History

It feels like Ridge is slowly drifting back to Brooke, with the water referenced implied. Nick might need to sail off again, with Taylor potentially reconsidering remarrying him in that instance.

Anyone who thinks the above speculation is ridiculous would go against B&B history, as Nick was married to Brooke from 2006 to 2007. The same year that he and Brooke split, Nick married Taylor. That nuptial only lasted a year as well.

No one touches the outrageous eight marriages and breaks that Ridge and Brooke have on their marital resumes. Maybe those two deserve each other, though Taylor and Nick likely disagree, but shouldn’t after all these soapy years.
