Chanel was very upset with Johnny when he backed out of the adoption when he and EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel) had their falling out. However, Tesoro is in foster care and needs a loving home.

Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) has told everyone that she had her baby had been adopted in Chicago. Of course, Sophia has made it clear that she doesn’t want to take the baby back.

However, Tate Black (Leo Howard) wants to know his child, that he believes is a girl. Now that Tate has agreed to stop trying to see the baby, Johnny and Chanel may adopt the little one after all.

Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) has already mentioned how much Tesoro looks like her son. Sophia knows that her mother needs to be kept away from this baby before she figures out the truth.

Sophia may even talk to Chanel and Johnny and encourage them to adopt the baby. Sophia believes the sooner her son is adopted, the sooner everyone stops looking for her child.
