The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 22 reveal that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) comes clean to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), while Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) issues a secret plan for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Phyllis is about to get her first big assignment from Cane. If he’s smart this will be a test of her loyalty.

What talent does Phyllis have that Cane could want? He has trains on every continent, you know. The world is his oyster.

Cane wants to use gamer Phyllis’ hacking skill. Will he deploy her talents by having her snoop on his GC business enemies? Or is there something bigger he wants to happen? He would desperately love to reunite with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). But we’re not sure Red can help him in that endeavor.

Whatever Cane has in mind, it is top secret and he gives the hot wire a way to show her loyalty.

Meanwhile, Nate demands answers from Audra. He had a long convo with his cousin Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) about Audra on the August 20 episode. Devon advised that Nate trust his gut about his GF and now he’s ready for the truth.

Gentleman Nate tells Audra he wants her to come clean with him and may even threaten to walk if she continues to evade his questions.

How will wily Audra choose to respond? It comes down to what she values more—honest Nate or a chance to ruin Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) relationship.

Audra may decide to come clean about working for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to split up Klaire and about kissing Kyle in his towel in Nice.
