Jack and Diane thought they would have a lovely belated honeymoon in Nice. The opposite happened—murder, mayhem, and corruption. Naturally, Diane wants a second chance at a second chance.

Diane has been busy and treats Jack to a romantic staycation in their newly re-designed digs. The happy couple toast themselves over drinks and look totally on board with celebrating in the lavish living room.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) lectures Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Does she rat out Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)? She could inform Cane that Nick has offered her the chance to team against Cane by letting him think they are on his side.

Or, does Phyllis keep her mitts clean and simply warn Cane that he has enemies all over Genoa City?

Of course, this is rich given that Cane has shown himself to be the ultimate betrayer—will he ever fully reveal his GC agenda to anyone?

Cane Is a Master of Lies and Secrets

Elsewhere, Holden finds himself developing feelings for Claire. He has spent time listening to her woes and helping through things while her boo Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was in France.

It began as a supportive friendship but the more time that Holden spends with Claire, the more his feelings grow.

This sort of attraction can’t end well and Holden tries to hold back the dam. For now.

Holden will need to lean on his resolve since Claire may need to vent to someone about nasty Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) continuing to try to seduce Kyle.
