The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, August 18: Daniel & Holden Beef, Lily Gets an Answer From Cane

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 18 reveal that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) is grilled while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) demands something from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Lily will help Cane tell their kids about his masquerade as Aristotle Dumas if he reveals the entirety of his GC agenda to her. Their twins Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) are in college and Lily insists they need to know what Cane has been up to for the last six years.

Will Lily Help Cane Tell Their Kids the Truth?

Even if Cane blurts out his plans, who’s to say that he’s telling the truth? He can’t be trusted at this point. Lily is barking up the wrong tree if she thinks that he will suddenly grow a conscience and tell her his true motives.

Will Cane tell Lily he doesn’t need her strings-attached help? Or maybe he’ll agree to a deal if she comes back to him. Which is silly, because who wants a partner who is blackmailed into a relationship?

Then again, Lily may put her kids first and help Cane explain himself even if she doesn’t want to. Which would only serve to further increase her animosity toward him.

What Happens Next in Genoa City, Wisconsin?

Meanwhile, Holden and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) get into a tense situation at Society. Lily warned Holden not to trust Cane, so he wants to know if Cane forced Daniel to interrogate him.

Holden gets edgy and Daniel must respond. Will he say that he’s not a fan of Cane and just wants to protect his mom, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)?

Daniel was alarmed when Red told him about her desire to do business with Citizen Cane and he isn’t on board with her latest disaster.
