The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Claire or Victoria — Who Will Be Nate’s New Love?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is in a relationship with a woman who is treating him badly.

Apologists for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), who, like her, cite claimed childhood trauma as eternal justification for her behavior, are just plain wrong.

Viewers witnessed Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) being targeted in the South of France and the center of Genoa City, Wisconsin, at Society.

Audra was acting on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) latest outrageous scheme when trying to lure Kyle into betraying Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).

A simple storyline would have Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate, who just entered the stages of grief, console each other and then couple. But it would be unexpected and more intriguing to see Claire bond with Nate romantically.

Kyle Abbott Should Not Engage

Kyle should be ignoring Audra. Instead, he hasn’t been able to release the grudge that formed between them when they were both used by Victor.

Claire needs and also deserves Kyle’s full focus. He knows that this is her first relationship of any kind. Kyle also should realize that playing games with Audra, or anyone like her, puts Claire’s heart needlessly at risk.

Engaging with Audra already resulted in Kyle putting himself into a bad situation in France, which he hasn’t truthfully detailed to Claire. He’s also foolishly not seeking to simply ignore Audra from here on out.

The Most Likely Option Is Wide Open

Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) just received a death shock. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) told him that Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) was murdered at Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) misguided gathering in France.

Claire was seemingly befriended by Holden in recent weeks, without her realizing that his secret boss, Cane, ordered him to become friendly with GC’s connected players. So, Claire is drifting toward a duplicitous man.

The shock of learning about Damian’s death is something that Claire will likely help him with. As is true of Victoria and Nate, Claire and Holden have entered the stages of grief due to the loss of a loved one, making Novak’s character the one she’s primed to become involved with next.

Audra Charles Is A Mess

Audra just lost her financial backer because Victor accurately assessed her failure to deliver on their promise. Whether he still pays her off if Claire breaks from Kyle is questionable.

Claire is seeking stability and wants a man she can trust. Kyle hasn’t lived up to that reasonable expectation, and Holden isn’t that man either, which leaves Nate.

Imagine a storyline where Claire and Victoria are vying for the same man, Nate, after just losing Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck). That would be intriguing soap if the writing staff has been asked to type in that direction.
