The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Audra Lies About Victor – Nate’s Trust Fractured

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has returned from France, defeated and debased, but unwilling to take responsibility for both.

As various people warned, her second alliance with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) proved disastrous, and that needless connection also led to betraying the man she claims to love.

Victor used Audra’s thirst for revenge to try and create a scenario where she made Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) look bad. But that effort failed because Kyle was on to her game and reversed the tables in the train compartment.

Vibrante has become a pipe dream, if it was ever a realistic concept. Victor told Audra that he was pulling out of the project and wanted the initial deposit he made back.

Kyle Abbott Is Endangered As Well

Kyle told Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) part of the story, but that only happened because Audra purposely pushed the issue. She lied about Kyle having forgotten a phone charger in her room while they were stuck on the train in France.

Audra later admitted to lying, but didn’t back off her implication that Kyle mentally cheated on Claire

. That doesn’t appear to be true because viewers know he confronted Audra after she initiated a kiss during the fake event Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) created for Genoa City, Wisconsin’s movers and soapy shakers.

Claire doesn’t know all the details about what happened between Kyle and Audra. But that’s not on Audra. Kyle is withholding that information because he believes Claire isn’t sophisticated enough to digest what happened if he told her.

Audra Charles’ Ambition Is The Problem

Audra’s insecurity dates back to her childhood. Many characters in GC falsely blame their parents or upbringing as a means to justify any current actions. Audra is part of that irresponsible group.

The bravado Audra projects includes a rough exterior, part of which she learned when working for Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). As fans recall, she was involved in an unseemly relationship with him early in her adult life to advance her career.

Tucker’s projection of immorality is mimicked by Cane’s, which likely served to attract Audra’s interest in what he might be able to do for her.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) wants to believe Audra has moved past the low level of thinking and will soon be disappointed to learn that she hasn’t.

Nate Hastings Deals With Profound Grief

Nate learned that his brother was murdered in France. That horrific outcome robbed him of a relationship with Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) that had just begun.

What Nate doesn’t know is that Audra also stuck a knife in his back. She did so when willfully kissing Kyle. Anything was possible at that moment, with Kyle stopping her advances.

Grieving his brother would be enough for ten lifetimes. Nate doesn’t need to compound that grief by learning that he isn’t the man she wants or is devoted to. But that reveal is coming, likely later this summer.
