The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor & Cane Duel Then Deal, Jack & Phyllis Drill Into Billy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 8 reveal that the tension rachets up in GC as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) makes an unexpected deal and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has a confrontation.

Billy is at Society to drink in peace, but Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) make that impossible.

Jack and Billy are feuding again, will Red use this to stir the pot to her advantage? You better believe she is capable.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) decides which side she’s on. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) successfully stopped the hit pieces on Billy as she requested, but Victor won’t stand for being openly defied.

If Adam goes forward with a smear campaign against Billy, how will Cheslea handle his defection and rejection?

Adam Must Decide

Let’s face it, Victor is on a rage against Billy, and even if Adam somehow manages to not publish the exposes, Victor has more fireworks planned against Billy Boy. To this end, Victor plans to use Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) to ruin the Abbotts by pitting them against each other.

Adam may approve since it would place the Abbotts as bigger threat to Cane rather than the Newmans. Once again, Chelsea may have to choose her poison.

Will Chelsea Support Adam or Herself?

Chelsea is unlikely to endorse Adam carrying out Victor’s dirty tactics, but is she ready to jump ship? After all, she is dependent on the Newmans for a job and a place to live. This is what happens when you put all of your eggs in one basket, kids …

Meanwhile, on Friday’s Y&R episode Victor calls Cane and tells him that they need to talk. Is Victor willing to concede a bit? Victor tells Cane to focus his dirty deeds on the Abbotts and offers a quid pro quo.
Cane and Victor are savvy enough not to trust each other, but a smart business deal requires no morals nor trust.

In the end, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may decide to throw in with Victor by pretending to forgive Cane and thus sus out his agenda.
