The Young And The Restless Spoilers reveal that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) was recently killed off the show. Unfortunately, that leaves the show minus one detective as well as one hot leading man. Who will replace Chance?

Fans Were Furious Over Chance Chancellor’s Demise

Fans were furious when this legacy character was killed off the show. This storyline might have added to the drama of the Nice trip, however fans are not happy at all over this latest happening.

Yes, Floyd had another job lined up at Days Of Our Lives. This doesn’t mean that Chance had to go. Chance could have very easily have been replaced.

Fans believe that Chance should have been kept around just to have a detective in Genoa City. Chance is literally the only cop that was ever seen in town.

No one can deny that fact that chase was at least around when people needed him. So what is going to happen the next time that someone commits a crime.

Genoa City Needs A Detective

At some point, Chance may be replaced, Genoa City certainly needs someone with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and her secret of the mysterious stranger that she choked in a drunken spell that night

. Once this comes out, someone needs to be around to investigate and maybe even save her from being arrested.

Fans would probably like it better if they could get used to whoever they hire to take over and GCPD detectives, especially if they were handsome young fellows.

Fans will be able to things about this guy as a new man in town. There will certainly be woman waiting around for a new man to come to town and romance them.

Genoa City Has A Shortage Of Single Men

Lets be honest, Genoa City doesn’t have too many single men these days. Chance was one of the most popular single guys around before the writers chose to kill him off. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) may have moved on with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) has left town.

Chance still could have been paired up with someone else or a new woman may come to town. Whatever the case, Genoa City needs single men to replace the two that were just killed off.

Will it come out that Chance is alive after all? will someone new be hired as a detective to take his place soon?
