The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Truth Exposed, Why Amanda Fought Hard For Cane In France

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) had an ulterior motive with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) in France. This isn’t exactly a newsflash, as the viewers assumed that Cane was blackmailing her or something along those lines.

Now that the Nice trip is over, the truth comes out about Amanda. She was fiercely loyal to Cane, strangely so considering she is typically an ethical lawyer. Cane’s business plan is far from ethical.

Amanda’s motives will become clear in the next few weeks. We’ll learn why she decided to help Cane acquire his empire, and what’s in it for her. Here’s what we know about the big reveal.

Amanda Bullied Nikki

This one was a big one for many Young and the Restless viewers. When Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) wanted to ensure her son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), was safe, Amanda had the paperwork to not only clear his name but to sign over ownership of Chancellor Industries.

If it wasn’t for Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman), Nikki might have signed the company over. Lauren pointed out that if Amanda allowed Nikki to sign under distress, it would not be a legal contract.

Nikki pressed to see Nick to know he was safe. That’s when the three women (Lauren, Nikki, and Amanda) discovered that Nick was hurt and the guard had been attacked. Amanda seemed genuinely surprised by everything, but it could have been an act.

After Carter (Vincent Stalba) and Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) deaths, she turned on cell service for everyone and contacted the police. That means she could have contacted law enforcement at any point and could have given the guest access to their phones. She chose not to, aligning with Cane over the safety of Genoa City’s elite.

Cane Likely Promised A Big Payday

The most likely reason Amanda did Cane’s dirty work was financial. She was probably promised a percentage of the deals she made with Chancellor Industries, Jabot, Newman Enterprises, and Winters. The icing on the cake and a company not on Cane’s bingo card was Billy Abbott’s Jason Thompson, Abbott Communications.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Amanda’s motives wll be revealed in the coming weeks, as Cane continues to try to acquire the Genoa City elite’s companies. He vows not to stop his mission until everything he ever wanted is in his hands. He promises Amamda that he will continue the mission in Genoa City with her help.
