King Charles Has Anxiety Thanks To Donald Trump

It can’t get any worse than this, now can it? That’s what a lot of royal fans on both sides of the aisle can’t help but think to themselves when it comes to King Charles.

That’s because there’s a new report suggesting he’s getting anxious ahead of Donald Trump’s visit to the UK.

Apparently, the King of England is worried that Trump might end up saying or doing things that’s not only going to embarrass himself and the United States, but also the royal family. He’s done it before and he certainly can do it again.

The last time that King Charles and Donald Trump met, they didn’t become the best of friends, but they didn’t become the worst of enemies, either.

One source close to the situation even said at the time, “It’s embarrassing for the palace, which sent the letter suggesting that there was going to be this cozy, informal visit first, but it looks like Trump saw that for what it was: an attempt to kick the can down the road. Given the general anxiety around the king’s health, you can understand where Trump is coming from.”

Plus, King Charles is tired from his ongoing cancer treatment and the last thing he needs right now is to deal with someone like Donald Trump.

King Charles Is Worried Donald Trump Might Say Something Regrettable

The insider also said, “He is exhausted. It is tricky because he is energized by the work, but he needs to take a break. Camilla wants him to slow down, but he won’t.”

With that said, here’s hoping that Trump’s visit to the UK will be a smooth one and that King Charles won’t have to deal with his anxiety over the American president saying something regrettable. That, or he could just ignore him altogether too, right? 

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
