The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was committed to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). That was far easier while the uniquely alluring Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) was living in Paris, France.
What is Daphne’s third trip to Los Angeles, California, could prove to be the charm. And she surely intends to retain her gaze on Carter, who could be the first true love of Daphne’s life.
Hope was glad to see Daphne leave town, apparently convinced that Carter was unattainable. Viewers were surprised to see Hilaire’s delightful character reappear this summer because that means that a juicy triangle should reignite.
The initial plan to bring Daphne to town was Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) brainstorm. But it didn’t prove to be a master stroke.
Carter found Daphne to be intoxicating, with a nod to the fragrances that made her famous in the cosmetics world. But he eventually realized that Hope, not Daphne, was his next soul mate.
Steffy believed Daphne was the right person to break Hope’s hold on Carter during the period when he had seized control of Forrester Creations. That storyline had various holes, with Saint-Victor’s character going against type, even considering his one-time connection to Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer).
Hope made a strange choice in the recent past. She made herself available to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) after years of telling him that she didn’t see him in that way.
The hole in that storyline was that Noelle’s character was placed far against type. While soap fans anticipate and even want writing staffs to rearrange the mix, Hope’s behavior wasn’t fully believable. Eventually, Hope was written back to believability, which also allows the developing storyline to have positive potential.
Daphne is a fitting foe for Hope. Steffy is married to John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). That union served to wrap the Hope, Steffy, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) triangle a handful of years ago. So, the possibility of having Hope, Carter, and Daphne restart their triangle is engaging.
Hope could announce a pregnancy at any point. But a different take could have Carter and Daphne involved in an unanticipated one-time connection that leads to her having what would be his first child.
That scenario would devastate Hope and probably lead to Carter being with Daphne or potentially marrying her. Liam, who believes he has beaten cancer, would become Hope’s next logical option.
Of course, Liam doesn’t appear to have been told the truth. He’ll need Hope to lean on if his tumor still exists and the fight for his life persists. Liam’s ongoing fight for his life would be a believable draw for Hope to be with him.

Hope and Thomas had off the charts chemistry together. After watching them together, no other man could beat this. They still have a giant fanbase though Thomas is long gone.
Carter can have daphne and Liam can have Ivy...but Hope should be with Thomas again.
