General Hospital Spoilers: Fan Theory — Drew is Murdered?! Whodunnit?

General Hospital spoilers suggest a wild fan theory is exploding across social media this week, speculating that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) could meet a grisly end in a shocking murder plot.

With his toxic schemes — spinning lies to keep Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) away from Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), toying with Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) with false abandonment claims, and blackmailing Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) — making enemies left and right, fans are convinced someone might take him out.

Top suspects include Willow, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), each with motive to silence Drew for good. If this fan theory holds, who’s the killer, and what will it mean for Port Charles?

Drew’s Enemies Stack Up

Drew’s reign of chaos, including his fling with Nina and his grip on Willow’s engagement, has painted a target on his back. Willow, devastated by losing custody of her children, might snap soon — an event charged by Drew’s scheming behind her back and manipulating her.

Sidwell, clashing with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) over the piers, could eliminate Drew to disrupt his esplanade deal, possibly with a staged hit.

Nina, desperate to hide their affair, might act to protect her bond with Willow. GH fans are poised to see this play out, with some shouting “Willow’s had enough!” and others betting “Sidwell’s the killer!”

A Murder Plot or Just Hype?

If Drew is murdered, the fallout could point to a dramatic scene — like a poisoning at a Quartermaine event — leaving the likes of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) scrambling for answers.

Willow’s grief could drive her to drastic measures, while Sidwell’s mob tactics might frame another, like Portia. Nina’s guilt could make her a suspect if her secrets keep leaking.

Will a killer strike Drew down, or is this fan theory overblown, with Drew dodging death once more? Fans online debate, with some shouting “Take Drew out!” and others are wary, saying it’s “Too wild of a twist!”

Port Charles Braces for Chaos

A murder plot that isn’t wrapped up in mob drama for once would be welcomed by most of the GH fan base, and we have to admit, we don’t think many would be sad to say goodbye to Drew.

He wore out his welcome a while ago, and most fans have been asking to be put out of their misery on that front. But there is a chance that his death would leave Willow suffering with such a massive amount of grief that she may never bounce back, fully enduring a mental collapse on the heels of saying goodbye — regardless of what he had done in the months leading up to his untimely demise.

So, will fan theories of Drew’s murder come true, with Willow, Sidwell, or Nina as the culprit, or will his schemes keep him alive to wreak more havoc? Share your thoughts with us, and keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers.

  • If Drew were killed and writers have Willow suffer his loss resulting in a complete mental breakdown, it would be the worst thing they could do to the already mental state Willow has been placed in now. Sure Drew needs to be brought down and actually serve time for his misdeeds, but Willow does not need to suffer any more in any way. Writers have taken a somewhat boring character and changed her 360 degrees in a years' time. Enough is enough especially the Drew part of her life. To save both characters as it seems now writers are trying to do, use a dream sequence to explain the events of the last year between Drew/Willow. But then again, writers penned Drew so horribly, I'm not sure if there would be viewer acceptance of the character going forward no matter what is penned. But the question is, do writers really care about the feelings of viewers when it comes to what they pen.
