The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Won’t Cooperate, Nick’s Deadly Find, Will Phyllis Squeal?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 16 hint that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) makes a significant discovery while Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) worries Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) due to his refusal to talk to police conducting about a murder investigation.

Cane Refuses To Cooperate

Cane tells Amanda about Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) stabbing death including the fact that GC’s very own Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is leading the investigation.

Amanda is stunned that Cane is paying Chance half a million bucks to be his private investigator instead of calling the local authorities—does he have something to cover up?

Cane’s refusal to alert the police raises red flags all day for lawyer Amanda. She knows that the choice could backfire on Cane because he looks like he’s hiding something. Amanda tries to strategize with Cane but he insists that his way is the right way.

Is Citizen Cane Hiding Something?

While this is taking place, Devon Winters (Bryton James) decides that his former BIL is the one who killed Damian.

Devon doesn’t like nor trust Cane, and he is hyper protective of his sister Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who is Cane’s ex.
Even though Chance views all of the guests as suspects, Devon insists that Citizen Cane is guilty.

Elsewhere on the property, Nick makes a jaw dropping find. Someone chucked a knife from the bushes into Damian’s back, does Nick find the deadly weapon?

We predict that he does, and that the find further implicates Cane. Cane is on thin ice with his guests and they are quick to think the worst of him. That’s because he is holding them virtual prisoners in a leafy maze and now this happens.
