Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease high and mighty Gwen Rizchech Von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) might just get her comeuppance.

After Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) hears Gwen has Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) necklace and gloated about not giving it back, he might just steal it back!

Gwen’s Massive Von Leuschner Riches Have Gone To Her Head!

It’s obvious that Gwen’s massive Von Leuschner riches have gone to her head-she was too high and mighty to even be nice to her former best friend Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).

But then, no one can blame her for being bitter-he stole her fiancé before they even got married. But Gwen got Dimitri Von Leuschner’s (Peter Porte) money anyway-while he spends time in prison with his new hottie he dumped Leo for!

Gwen treated Julie just awful when she had the nerve to come to her house and flash her family jewels in her face and refuse to give them back. Even though the only ones to witness this were Julie and Chad DiMera, (Billy Flynn) somehow it gets back to Doug.

Doug Owes Money But He’s Not Using The Necklace To Get It-Although He Gets The Necklace

Doug owes money but he wants to make up for the wrong he did Julie, whether she accepts it or not. Stealing the necklace back and giving it to her should at least clear his conscience, whether Julie ever forgives him or not.

The necklace would pay off his loan shark debt but he’s not stealing it for that-the first time he stole it, it didn’t pay off his debt.

If it had, he wouldn’t be in trouble now-but working at Brady’s Pub isn’t paying enough money either, but his conscience being cleared and doing Julie right is more important.

Besides, if he can get close enough to the rich woman Von Leuschner to steal the necklace, maybe he can steal his way out of trouble too!

Planning His Work, Working His Plan!

Doug has a lot of experience with con jobs, but doing some research and asking some questions, he finds out Gwen has conned a lot of people as well-this should be interesting.

There’s that old saying about not being able to con a con, but he thinks in this case it won’t be hard at all. He learns the history of the poor woman marrying a man who wasn’t into her and into her best male friend, and figures she’s lonely-a much younger guy may feed her ego.

Doug figures he’ll romance this older woman in a discreet way and gain her trust-and her necklace! And in the interest of killing two birds with one stone, steal enough money from her to pay off his debt.
