The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Guilty Claire Hides Holden Kiss, Confess Betrayal To Cheater Kyle

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will struggle to handle such a profound loss as her dad, Cole Howard (J Eddie Peck).

Claire tries to reach her boyfriend, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), repeatedly, but he doesn’t pick up.

Desperate for someone to talk to, she runs into Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). One thing leads to another, and Claire ends up in a liplock with the handsome stranger.

Kyle Is Unreachable

After Cole’s sudden death, Claire tries to call Kyle repeatedly. His phone appears to be off, immediately sending her call to voicemail. She cannot understand what could cause Kyle not to call her back after she leaves multiple voicemails and texts. Little does she know, Kyle is not receiving her messages. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has blocked cell phone access in the chateau in NICE.

The Young and the Restless spoilers point out that Kyle has a secret of his own. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) made a play for him, and he took the bait. Kyle jumped into bed with the hot number, instantly regretting it. Ashamed, he begins to panic at the thought of Claire discovering the betrayal.

Claire Needs Support & Finds It Unexpectedly

Frustrated by Kyle’s nonresponse to her pleas to talk to him, she finds comfort in Holden. She runs into him likely at Crimson Lights, and he offers to listen if she needs to talk. After expressing how devastating it was to lose her dad, Claire impulsively embraces Holden.

Their eyes lock, and they lean in for a kiss.

Immediately after, Claire felt guilty. She is new to being in a relationship. She doesn’t know how she will be able to look Kyle in the eyes, knowing she kissed Holden. She plans to confess to him the minute he lands back in Genoa City.

Claire’s Confession Confusion

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Claire plans to meet with Kyle when he returns from his trip to France. She knows the best thing to do is to come clean and apologize.

When Kyle returns, Claire does exactly that. She tells Kyle in a grief-stricken state, she kissed Holden, pointing out the kiss meant nothing to her.

Claire expected Kyle to have questions or display anger about the situation. Instead, he understood how it could happen in her challenged frame of mind. Offering her forgiveness. His quick forgiveness act is in response to his infidelity with Audra in France.

Kyle will do whatever is necessary to make sure Claire never finds out he slept with Audra in France. He deemed it a mistake. The real question is, can he resist Audra when she wants another roll in the bed?
