Who Will Prince William Find To Fill the “Huge Gap” Prince Harry Left Behind?

A Palace insider recently revealed that when Prince Harry quit to pursue a different course of life in America, he left a “huge gap” in the Royal Family, which will only become more prominent when Prince William becomes King.

The question now is, who will Prince William find to fill it? A few royal experts have got some varied options in mind.

The Duchess of Edinburgh has been steadily rising in popularity in recent years, and these days she’s even earned the public’s good graces enough to pull off a higher public approval rating than some senior royals.

So, with Prince Harry in America, experts are suggesting that Sophie is about to become a frontline royal. The clue? She’s got a glowing relationship with the Prince and Princess of Wales. Okay, she’s also mega-swell at her job.

“Sophie is very keen to take on more work for the Royal Family,” a source said to be connected with Sophie said, adding, “Until now she has been a bit like Princess Anne — someone who has done a hell of a lot of travelling to engagements all over the world without any real fanfare. ”

The source continued: “The places she has gone to are often not very fashionable, to say the least, but she happily goes and gives each engagement her all because she knows she is representing the King. The duchess is very good at doing her own research for those engagements and writing her own speeches, as does the duke.”

“I suspect that as she takes on more work for the family, Sophie will have to have more staff,” the source pointed out. “Because at the moment the duke and duchess only have one live-in member of staff at their home in Bagshot [Surrey], who doubles up as a personal secretary.”

However, others believe that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who are also reportedly keen on taking on more working royal roles, would be the top pick due to their youth.

Whilst they obviously don’t have the same experience level as the Duchess of Edinburgh, they’re by no means complete amateurs, having represented the Royal Family on several occasions.

The need to fill the gap Harry and Meghan left is becoming increasingly important, especially since sources have confirmed that Princess Kate means to pace herself in the future.
