The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Loves Sharon Now, Decides to Make Amanda Her Next Enemy?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) have become besties but their fraught friendship could be coming to end in France.

Amanda arranged for Phyllis to attend Cane Ashby’s soiree in Nice but Red tried to steal her job out from under her. Amanda was right to read her the riot act but where do these two go from here? Let’s unpack the delicate situationship!

Amanda Steamed With Phyllis

To be fair, Phyllis was just being herself: wily, cunning, and cutthroat. She wants to regain a foothold in the corporate world and Cane is her golden ticket. Still, did she have to undermine Amanda to do it?

These two ladies are fierce and respect each other’s game. But undercutting a friend is simply off limits. We wouldn’t blame Amanda for kicking Red back to GC. The only problem with that is that the train carrying guests to and from civilization is out of commission due to a storm.

No one is getting out of Cane’s bash just yet. And that includes Phyllis and her manipulative ways.

Will Maanda Get Rid of Phyllis?

Phyllis’ kids are sick of manipulations, but they are adults now and can fight back. Amanda is also an adult, but it hurts when a “friend” stabs you in the back like Phyllis did.

What will Amanda do next? She has a lot of power being connected to Cane. If she wanted to she could see to it that Phyllis never works again in GC.

Amanda is not vindictive however—Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is still alive, isn’t he?

Did Phyllis Overplay Her Hand?

Phyllis thinks that a smile and an apology will get her out of most scrapes, but we have a feeling that Amanda plays to win and doesn’t appreciate Phyllis’ low ball tactics.

What will the legal eagle do next? That’s an excellent question! These two will presumably return to GC with Cane, and that’s when the real bombshells could begin.
