The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chadam Defy Victor, Tessa’s Ultimatum Ends Her Marriage?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 18 tease that one GC couple are headed for chaos after defying The Boss.

We’re talking about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) giving in to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and not publishing the hit pieces that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has ordered. Ruh roh.

Chadam Are Feeling Smug

This is good news for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), the target of the nasty articles. But once Victor finds out that Adam has defied him, at Chelsea’s request no less, heads will roll.

Chelsea is happy that Adam didn’t follow through on the articles but what will Victor do and say? You can bet that when the articles don’t appear as scheduled, Adam hears about it from Victor, who is paying his son to do a job. If Nepo Baby doesn’t like dad’s instructions, maybe he should find a real job?

Adam’s Defiance

On Wednesday’s show Chelsea and Adam are in their element, but how will they afford their lifestyle if they’re both unemployed? We don’t put it past Victor to fire his disobedient employees, do you?

Meanwhile, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) has his dad Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) in town and it’s great timing. Daniel has been adrift after some recent personal calamities and hopefully his dad has wise counsel for him.

His mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is part of the problem, so she has not been very helpful. As usual, Phyllis is adding to his woes by pestering his friend and teacher, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).

Messa in a Mess

Speaking of Tessa, she’s at the end of her rope with her wife Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Mariah refuses to admit to whatever horrible thing she did while on a business trip out of town, and naturally Tessa’s mind has gone to some dark places.

On Wednesday Tessa blows her cool and tells Mariah she needs to come clean or else. Their marriage is suffering from the secret Mariah is keeping about the Stranger (Michael Swan) she met and drank with during her business trip.

Messa Reach an Impasse

Mariah is concerned that Tessa could be in danger if she spills the beans, but keeping secrets is no way to run a marriage. Does Mariah break down and admit her indiscretion? Be sure to tune in and find out!
