The Young and the Restless spoilers note that the CBS soap just dropped its summer preview video on social media, and it centers around the official kick-off to the hottest season of the year in Genoa City!

It’s All About Aristotle Dumas’s Party in France

The Y&R summer preview opens up with a view of Nice, as the words “This Summer on the Young and the Restless”. Scenes of various characters boarding their train rides to Aristotle Dumas’s party in France are then shown.

There’s a clip of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), all entering their extravagant train cab looking mighty impressed, while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) shows off an envelope with the word ‘Welcome’ on it, and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) states, “Who does this guy think he is” as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) watches on from the bar, eating some grapes.

A clip is then revealed of Victor, Nick, and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) all arriving at Dumas’s home, within a greenery-bush-like maze. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) can be heard saying, “He’s one of the most reclusive billionaires in the world.’ Sounds like Dumas will pull out all the stops for his big party!

Fun, Fright, Romance (& Cheating)

As scenes shift in the promo, Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) cutely run around in the maze, wondering what they’ll see next. Another clip reveals Jack and Diane, enjoying a slow dance in the maze (and smiling).

As the scenes shift within the preview, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is also shown scarily running through the maze as if she’s running for her life!

Then Sharon appears, looking around a corner of the maze, almost eavesdropping on a conversation. As the scenes shift, Kyle appears, as he’s in the maze, seemingly about to give Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) a kiss on her neck.

The Shocking Reveal

As the Young and the Restless preview progresses, Sally is then shown stating, “As if there wasn’t enough mystery and intrigue already”. As a clip of Carter (Vincent Stalba), Dumas’s assistant (looking very serious), pops up, as well as Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) with a serious look on her face, someone in the background is stating, “It’s like a human board game.”

This is when Victor states, “Anything can happen,” as a frantic Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) looks lost within the maze, not knowing where to turn. Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) can then be heard in the background saying, “This just gets weirder and weirder” – just as Lily screams, “Can somebody please help!?” This is when Devon is shown running to see what his sister needs.

Sally, Billy, and Victor’s faces flash across the screen, which is when a clip of actor Billy Flynn pops up as he says, “It’s time for me to make myself known.”
