General Hospital Spoilers: Why Is Emma Determined To Get Close To Dalton, Working For The DVX?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease there must be a reason that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) is still determined to get close to Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard). Considering Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) would report animal abuse via testing, if she found it happening, might Emma have other reasons-could she be working for the DVX?

Josslyn’s WSB Mission Isn’t About Animal Abuse, But She’d Certainly Report It

Josslyn’s WSB mission isn’t about animal abuse, but she’d certainly report it, along with her other findings to either Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) or Vaughn (Bryce Durfee).

She doesn’t know that Brennan wants the “tech” Dalton is working on, which is rumored to be human cloning. She’s simply there to find out what Dalton is working on in his university lab-and what connection there may be to the GH lab where she saw him as well.

But even though the brief truce between Josslyn and Emma didn’t last long, there’s no reason Emma wouldn’t believe Josslyn wouldn’t report animal abuse as she promised. Yet, Emma was clearly flirting with the seemingly lecherous Dalton at the Metro Court pool-even after her grandma had talked to him!

Anna Devane Has Her Own Reasons For Investigating Dalton

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has her own reasons for investigating Dalton, which Brennan doesn’t like her interference-but it’s because of Emma.

She finds it suspicious that Dalton came from Emma’s university in California and now he’s at her university in Port Charles-and she also told Brennan to stay away from Emma.

She had seen Brennan recruit young girls for the WSB in the past, and noticed him hanging around Emma. But there’s one thing that Anna hasn’t considered-Emma might already be a spy but not for the WSB, she could be working for the DVX.

The DVX is the bad spy organization (like any are good?) who her twin Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) worked for, and Anna herself was a double agent at one time!

Both The WSB And The DVX Likely Want Dalton’s “Tech”

Both the WSB and the DVX likely want Dalton’s “tech” to use it for their own purposes-if indeed it’s human cloning, the WSB may have slightly more altruistic reasons-perhaps organ donation?

The DVX would want it to use as a weapon somehow, or some other reason-they’re also the ones who saved Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and used him as an assassin!

The animal activism may simply be Emma’s cover for getting close to Dalton and close to the secret project he’s been developing and working on.

One thing is for certain-Emma is far too interested in what might be going on in Dalton’s lab for it to be just worrying about abusing puppies in a lab setting. Why else would she flirt with Dalton and want to “get together” as she asked him at the Metro Court Pool-in a sexy bikini?
