The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) unwell and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) now armed with a gun, it seems like a death is imminent.
Given the show’s penchant for shocks, we believe this specific death could deeply affect John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Once Luna purchased a gun, it was obvious she planned to use it. Her target is Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), but Luna has a past of killing people who didn’t need to die due to circumstances.
Paul Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) got in her way while she was trying to hide Tom’s death, and he ended up dead as well.
Although Luna aims to eliminate Steffy, it seems the young double murderer lacks much experience with firearms. This could create dangerous situations for anyone who crosses her at an unfortunate time.
According to this week’s spoilers, Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) will seek advice from Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) regarding Luna. Together, they may find a solution to the Luna Problem once and for all; however, this could lead to Poppy’s death, leaving Bill and Finn shocked, and maybe Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda).
Poppy distanced herself from Luna after Luna attempted to frame her for the murders of Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Hollis. Poppy tried to overlook her daughter’s actions, but it became too painful, and Luna’s behavior was not helping.
Luna blames her life’s issues on Poppy’s choices as a single mother, and without Luna accepting responsibility for her actions, Poppy felt powerless to assist her.
Now that Sheila and Poppy team up to find a way to keep Steffy safe, it’s possible that Poppy could surprise Luna at her apartment, leading to Luna, taken by surprise, shooting her.
She has already killed the man she believed was her father, so why not add her mother to that increasing list? Poppy’s character has changed from being Luna’s whimsical mother to becoming Bill’s romantic interest, now shunned after the revelation that she had an affair with a college-aged Finn, who is Luna’s father.
Among all the characters currently on the show, Poppy is the most dispensable and her death could create a whole new storyline for Bill and Finn. Finn would not only feel guilty for failing to protect his former lover from danger, but he would also be losing his aunt, and his mother would be losing her sister.
We can imagine Li (Naomi Matsuda), frustrated, might hold Finn responsible for the turmoil his actions have brought to their family, despite previously blaming Poppy for exploiting her young son. Yet, it is Bill who would be most affected; he truly cared for Poppy and cherished the thought of being Luna’s father.
Even after discovering he wasn’t her biological father, his protective instincts drove him to help get Luna released from house arrest, and he even secured her a full pardon.
Since her release, she has only caused chaos for everyone, including his son Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).
Poppy’s death would hit hard, as they had shared a deep love during their time together, both 20 years ago at the music festival and after they rekindled their relationship.
