John Black’s Funeral

Before getting to the two-weekers, let’s discuss what’s coming up this week. From June 9 to 13, expect to see John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) funeral. Although it will be a devastating time for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and others, there will be some laughter at the funeral.

For one thing, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), Marlena, and Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) seem to bond over baseball. Also, Belle Black (Martha Madison) tells everyone how funny John was.

Tate Black’s Moral Dilemma

Just when Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) is close to giving birth, Tate will have to deal with another moral dilemma. Tate will find out a secret from Ari.

That secret is most likely that she slept with Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) and hopes to get to know him better. Ari seems to have fallen awfully hard awfully fast.

In any case, there is also a creepy man taking pictures of Ari. Is this connected to Doug’s loan sharks or does Ari have a dicey history, too?

Back to Tate, he could face a moral dilemma, especially if he learns that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) has feelings for Doug. Tate and Holly might be broken up, but they still care about one another. Holly will console Tate about John’s death, so that might give them time to discuss Doug.

Week of June 9, 2025

Fans can also expect Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) to go against medical advice. Bo ends up issuing a plea to Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). So, it sounds like Bo leaves the medical facility and returns to Salem. Bo will have time to bond with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).

Speaking of Hope, she will reconnect with Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Jennifer will likely continue having issues with Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) feelings for Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).

As for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), he goes to pay his respects to Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller).

Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) continue clashing over their daughter. Meanwhile, Kate vows to get justice for Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).
