Official Communication In the US Removed Prince Harry and Meghan’s Titles

It’s just been uncovered that an official US message referred to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the “former Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

This new revelation raises eyebrows as to how the Americans really view the titles Harry and Meghan are known to frequently use on their outings and projects.

Whilst the New York Police Department are yet to officially confirm the authenticy of a recently released letter that claims to have come from them, fans have already latched onto the newly leaked correspondence to mock the couple.

What was said in the letter, you ask, that incurred such derision? Oh just that the couple were referred to as the former versions of titles they still use.

“I received a call from City Hall regarding the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit to NYC on July 18th,” the purported letter reads.

The correspondence, claimed to have been gotten through Freedom of Information Request, has been an interesting topic of discussion online since it was discovered.

This further proves the fact that there’s a significantly large number of people who are in favor of Harry and Meghan losing their titles.

However, if indeed this was sent by the NYPD, it’s safe to say that the officer sending it was not aware of royal protocol. The officer shared the correspondence with Touchstone Global, likely a private security or consulting firm, in a move that might have been made to try to arrange for the couple’s security ahead of their appearance at the United Nations’ Nelson Mandela International Day event in New York City on July 18, 2022.

This leak couldn’t have happened at a more buzz-worthy time, since it’s coming on the heels of news that Harry seriously considered changing his family’s name to Spencer.

The Prince, likely driven by some emotional event, reached out to his uncle, Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer, to inquire as to the reasonability of ditching the Mountbatten-Windsor surname.

Likely, Harry had predicted that this move will not only shock his family, but the thousands of royal fans everywhere. Unfortunately, we were not given the luxury of shock because Earl Spencer managed to calmly talk Harry out of making that damning move.
