The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that unfortunately, fans have low expectations for Nick Marone’s (Jack Wagner) return on the show.
That’s because they don’t think Nick will be enough to convince Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she is making a huge mistake by chasing after Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) all the time.
In fact, it doesn’t seem like Nick will be enough to convince Brooke that she’s making the same mistake with Ridge over and over again.
As our readers can imagine, the internet had a lot to say about the matter. Some have even commented with, “I’m excited just to mix things up, but I feel like they’re going to play in our faces with a will-they-won’t-they that no one will ever believe.”
“Barely even share one kiss, then Ridge runs in, realizes he wants to be with Brooke and then that’s it for Nick.”
Another fan of the show wrote, “Feels more like fan service than an authentic, thoughtful idea that would benefit the show.
And how long does Jack Wagner plan on staying with the show anyway? He’s too expensive and I don’t have much faith in the writing for his character.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I don’t know what to think about Nick’s return. Brooke is a fun legacy character. She’s been beaten up enough these last 6 months. I was looking forward to a storyline featuring Brooke with a younger man.”
“Someone who is as vivacious as her. Then I wanted to see Ridge eat his heart out and I wanted Taylor to see she’s placed her bets on the wrong horse her whole life and move on from Ridge once and for all.”
