Is it really necessary to give her this special treatment? That’s what a lot of The Bold and the Beautiful fans can’t help but wonder when it comes to Daphne.
That’s because during the latest episode of the show, Daphne was given a montage as her portrayer, Murellie Hilaire is leaving the show.
However, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder why the decision to give Daphne a montage seeing how she never was a fan favorite and that she also wasn’t on the show that long for people to start missing her.
The show expected fans to care about her or her potential relationship with Carter, but they couldn’t. Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some have even commented with, “She was brought on by Steffy to sabotage Carter and Hope’s stupid takeover, had characters sniffing her like she has some intoxicating power that controls them, which was cringe to watch, and she fell in love with a man that she barely knew. Which was also cringe to watch.”
Another fan wrote, “Such a gorgeous actress, but she played such a poorly written character. The character was only created because of Beyond The Gates. Before it premiered damn near every other soap was showing off their black characters like see we have them too.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I like Daphne. I think she’s suave and sexy and classy. I feel like she’s above Carter and she just seemed too desperate. Also she likes to act like she knows hope when she doesn’t. But I think that they gave her a montage just because she is going to be coming back imo.”
It goes without saying that B&B fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
