Yet, Ridge doesn’t dispute Brooke when she confidently speaks about his love for her.

It’s great to mine this historical territory by writing Nick back into the show, likely referencing the romantic adventures and conflicts he and Brooke experienced in the recent past.

Soap fans are savvy and know that Nick’s return, including location scenes in Italy, will grab Ridge’s attention. Taylor will feel the impact, and this enduring triangle, or rectangle with Nick’s inclusion, will be in flux again.
