Let’s just say that ‘the hat’ has become a supporting character of its own. The Bold and the Beautiful fans have made it pretty clear that they are tired of seeing this prop on the show each and every day.
We are sure that a lot of our readers know exactly what we are talking about, as it’s Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) hat. He’s supposedly wearing it to cover the fact that he’s losing hair or that he’s so sick from his brain tumor that the hat is supposed to make him look like he’s near death.
Whatever the case, a lot of fans agree that the hat is completely unnecessary at this point, especially considering the fact that you can actually see Scott Clifton’s hair underneath it.
Plus, it’s not like the actor’s character actually had chemotherapy on the show anyway, right? This has prompted a lot of people to wonder what the point of the hat might even be.
As our readers can imagine, the internet had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “iam had a storyline similar to this a couple of years ago. That was when the hat made its premiere. Wash, rinse, repeat seems to be the norm on this show lately…”
Another fan wrote, “Is it me or does anyone else see Liam’s hat and get misty? The hat makes his illness surreal.”
And then there was this comment as well: “At first I was almost in tears every time I saw that dopey hat. But not anymore. It’s dirty boxers. And he wears it to hide his brain surgery. They opened his head to release pressure.”
