The Bold and the Beautiful news says that everyone seems to agree about this one thing: the producers of the show have refused to admit the fact that they made a huge mistake casting General Hospital alumni Rebecca Budig as Taylor Hayes.

And that’s not just because she looks significantly younger than what Taylor is supposed to look like on the canvas, but it’s also because they think the actress simply doesn’t fit in the role.

She’s not the sharp, conniving Taylor that everyone used to know and love. Not only that, but the old Taylor would have given Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) a good run for her money and that just hasn’t happened with Rebecca in the role.

Of course, B&B fans have had a lot to say about this matter on the internet.

Some critics have even left comments such as, “I often have wondered how they don’t pick up on so many of the fans not liking her in the role like previous actresses in it and just recast her.”

Should Rebecca Budig Leave The Show?

“I still don’t get how they did a screen test of her and the actor that plays ridge and didn’t see there was 0 chemistry between them?”

Another fan wrote, “I think fans have been really honest about this and called it a miscast since she was announced.”

“I think it’s TPTB that won’t admit this recast is a bust. Personally, I think it’s out of stubborn spite because they don’t want to admit getting rid of Krista Allen was a mistake.”

And then there was this comment as well: “A lot of us like Rebecca as an actress but not in the Tay-lor role at all.”

“I only knew Krista as Taylor and thought she was a perfect fit, and especially because she and Brooke completed each other and had good chemistry with Brooke as well. I wish Krista would come back.”
