Courtney Revealed Some Heartbreaking News

Hope is widely recognized among soap opera fans for her role as Sally Spectra II. She debuted in this character on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2017 until 2020, portraying the niece of the original Sally Spectra, played by Darlene Conley.

In 2020, Hope made the move to The Young and the Restless.

In 2024, she was honored with a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance on the show. Lately, fans have observed that she has stepped back from social media; recently, Hope recently took to Instagram Stories to share some devastating news.

Courtney’s Beloved Furry Friend Had A Close Call

Hope revealed that she had received messages from her fans, but was preoccupied with her dog Stevie’s health.

 

Courtney recounted, ‘Stevie went into heart failure, and we thought that was the end.’ The doctor had said, ‘This is it,’ which was a heavy moment for her, especially since Stevie holds a special place in her life.

She also recently posted a tribute for Stevie’s birthday, saying, ‘She’s been my companion since I was 19, the first dog for my entire family, so this has been a lot for us all.

But as always, she has nine lives; although she’s no longer in heart failure, she requires constant care and is currently staying with my parents.’

Courtney Thanked Her Friends And Fans For Their Concern

Hope wrapped up her thoughts by expressing, “I appreciate your curiosity and concern. I’m simply embracing life and cherishing the small moments.

I may not be here as often since I feel this season deserves my undivided attention, but I love you all.” According to Hello! Magazine, Hope had previously addressed Stevie’s health in an earlier Instagram Story, stating, “Witnessing her battle for her life repeatedly has been a privilege for me.”

She added, “She continues to inspire me. Cheers to another round, Miss Nicks.” On Instagram, Hope has also frequently shared her love for Stevie, who she named after the famous Fleetwood Mac singer.

Courtney Recently Shared A Valentine’s Day And Birthday Post In Stevie’s Honor

In a heartfelt tribute, Hope recently expressed her affection for Stevie in a post celebrating both Valentine’s Day and Stevie’s birthday.

The message read, ‘Happy 15th birthday to the wise soul who has transformed my life countless times; my vibrant, chatty Stevie Nicks.

My little model, partner in crime, and the highlight of my day; I am incredibly grateful to share this journey with this little gem, who truly resembles a cat with nine lives.

She has tested the boundaries of life and still greets each day with enthusiasm, eager for more. I have been blessed with the most precious gift in her presence, and I will always be thankful; forever my Valentine!’
