General Hospital Comings & Goings: Star Power Boost – YDE Joins Soap For 2025 Nurses’ Ball

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest the ABC soap is about to get a boost of ‘star power’ for the 2025 Nurses’ Ball, which is slated to begin as of the Tuesday, May 20 episode.

Singer and actress YDE is scheduled to join the cast and will debut with a performance at the big event, come Thursday, May 22.

The 2025 Nurses’ Ball Will Be Fire

According to Deadline, Breanna Nicole Yde, who now performs under the name YDE, will be a part of the charity gala with a rocking act.

While she is new to the land of daytime, some fans may recognize her from other projects she’s worked on, like Netflix’s Malibu Rescue, as well as Nickelodeon’s School of Rock and The Haunted Hathaways – just to name a few. In fact, she scored a Kids’ Choice Award nod for her work on Nickelodeon.

More recently, YDE has focused on music full-time. Through Warner Records, she’s released some singles, including,

‘BlindLife’ and ‘Stopped Buying Diamonds’ followed by her EP in 2022, ‘Send Help’.

GH fans are quite excited about this year’s Nurses’ Ball as it promises to be a big one. After all, the ABC soap skipped the tradition of organizing the massive event that not only raises funds for HIV/AIDs but also raises awareness of the conditions in 2024.

Lynn Herring, who plays Lucy Coe (the event’s organizer and host), teased some bombshells that will drop during the gala, so it’ll be a Nurses’ Ball viewers won’t want to miss!

Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) and Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves) will co-host the red carpet, so fans can also expect some banter between these two former flames-turned-rivals. Will their storyline explode while the cameras are rolling? Only time will tell.

For now, GH audiences should brace themselves to not only be entertained by the variety of talent acts, but the proverbial poop that is set to hit the fan!
