The Young and the Restless’ Eric Braeden Applauds Former Co-Star On Recent TV Project

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victor Newman rarely praises anyone’s work, unless he has his hands in the pot; however, his portrayer, Eric Braeden, is another story. The soap opera legend recently hopped on social media to applaud the work of a former Y&R colleague.

Braeden hopped on Facebook and shared his thoughts on the Season 2 finale of Tracker, a show in which his former Y&R co-star, Justin Hartley, stars in and is also executive producer.

Fans may recall that Justin Hartley played Braeden’s onscreen son, Adam Newman, from 2014 to 2016. Tracker’s Season 2 finale aired this past

Sunday, May 11, on CBS.

In a FB post, Eric wrote, “I was blown away by the final show! Excellent script, direction, casting, camera work, locations.”

He went on to say, “… and Justin is one of those rare actors with absolute authenticity! One believes every move. Great show, brother.” Fans Chime In

Of course, Braeden’s FB followers were quick to chime in the comment section, with many of them agreeing with The Moustache about Tracker, the Season 2 finale, and Hartley’s performance. Some even commented that Hartley was their favorite “

Adam Newman” ever (no offense, Mark Grossman!)

With that said, considering how on fire Hartley’s career is right now, there’s little to no chance that Hartley would return to the land of Genoa City and slip back into Adam’s shoes (so, Grossman can breathe a sigh of relief!) After his NBC hit, This is Us (the primetime drama he left the Y&R for back in 2016) ended in 2022, Hartley quickly walked into the Tracker project, playing the lead role of Colter Shaw.

The drama became an instant hit on CBS after it debuted in February 2024 and continues to go strong in the ratings.
