Of course, we are talking about Kate Middleton as a lot of fans and critics on both sides of the aisle wouldn’t argue that the Duchess of Sussex certainly can’t touch the future queen when it comes to her style.

The Princess of Wales recently stepped out in a fitted Victoria Beckham suit and of course, the world can’t stop gushing about how good she looked. Not only that, but she’s also doing her duty in promoting nothing but British brands during her outings and it seems to be working.

That’s because the future queen of England is getting a lot of attention over her impeccable style. While Meghan Markle is someone who likes to follow trends, others would argue that it’s Kate Middleton who is actually setting those trends.

Designer Patrick McDowell recently had nothing but positive things to say about Kate Middleton. He recently received the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design from Prince William’s wife herself.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Princess Of Wales?

When asked about his thoughts on the future queen of England, McDowell put it this way, “I think throughout her tenure she’s been an amazing advocate for British brands and she really flies the flag for British fashion.”

“She always looks incredible, is a real style icon and so it’s extra special that I’ve received the award from her today.”

The designer continued, “Our work centres around British craftsmanship we make in the UK, we try and make incredibly beautiful, sustainable circular fashion and it’s a real honour the royal family and the British Fashion Council have seen that.”

So far Kate Middleton herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
