The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam’s on a Tightrope, Phyllis Propositions Victor

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 13 reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is in for a surprise, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) considers a dangerous proposition, and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) needs to find a way to strike a balance.

Let’s get started with Lily and the man who is smitten with her, Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). Damian is interested in the Winters job Lily talked about and now it’s time to go over the fine print.

What does Lily want? Only for Damian to be a spy and promise Aristotle Dumas inside access. Her agenda involves tricking Dumas into showing his hand before he can act.

Why Is Damian Interested in Lily?

Let’s stop for a moment and consider why Damian would want to swap a high power international mogul job to toil in a Midwest family firm. You’re right–it makes no sense. But this being a soap, let’s roll with it.

Believe it of not, eager Damian surprises Lily with his ideas on Tuesday’s show. He’s thought about the proposition and impresses her. But is he really just playing her?

Adam Needs to Find a Balance

Meanwhile, Adam might be second guessing his decision to mix business with pleasure. He is involved, and living, with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and now they are working together as well.

Chelsea quit a lucrative job at to work with Adam at Newman Media and she can’t get the hang of everything immediately. Will that be good enough for Victor?

Victor is pressuring Adam who will be stuck between the two for now.

Victor’s Interesting Turn of Events

Elsewhere, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford )has a request for Victor, a quid pro quo situation. Would he be willing to work with her in order to get something they both want?

Phyllis explains her terms to Victor who listens intently. Does Phyllis want a deal similar to the one that Victor made with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)?

Phyllis wants to form an enterprise with her reluctant son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). The question is, does she have something worthwhile to entice Victor to play ball?

Red knows that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) plans on letting Aristotle Dumas manage Victor while he watches from afar, and Victor would want to know that. Can these two strike a deal? If they do, Billy needs to watch his front and his back because they will be gunning for him!
