STAYLA Mystery

Next week, one must-see moment centers on Steve and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). The two will break into Dr. Jeffrey Russell’s (Michael Dietz) lab to get one dose of sepsis medication for Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). Kayla suggested that just taking one dose would help cover up the actual burglary.

However, when Shawn and Steve get into the lab, someone else beats them to it. All of the drug is gone, and it looks like they made a mess, too. It is teased that the trio will investigate the mystery.

Who is Kevin?

The person who stole the drug is Kevin, who ends up making a deal with Philip during the week of May 12. The two meet, and Philip asks him about his job. Sounds like Philip targeted this young man. It doesn’t seem like Kevin is accustomed to break-ins and theft, either. So, Kevin could blab the minute anyone asks him any questions.

In fact, by the end of the week, Kevin and Philip panic.

Chanel Dupree-DiMera’s Marriage

Days of Our Lives spoilers for next week reveal that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) apologizes to Chanel. However, he then opens up and tells Chanel something that leaves her rattled. Johnny admits that he wished his father was dead. Does Johnny also tell her about pointing the gun at EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)?

In any case, Chanel is pretty shaken, so this could be another obstacle for the couple.

It is teased that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) celebrates her birthday next week. Sophia likely can’t go to prom because of her modified bed rest. So, Tate Black (Leo Howard) will do what he can to make the situation as least sucky as he can.

The adoption is off, but could a twist happen that changes things for both couples?

What Else to Expect

Fans will also see Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) get some great news about John Black (Drake Hogestyn). However, just as Marlena is rejoicing from that phone call, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) gets a bad feeling. Susan tells a rattled Marlena that it felt like someone just walked over her grave.
