The Young And The Restless Star Michelle Stafford Gives Her Younger Self Some Advice

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that while Phyllis Summers may never learn from her mistakes, her portrayer, actress Michelle Stafford sure has. The Y&R star recently posted an interesting video on social media where she gave her ‘younger self’ some words of wisdom.

Ode To The 2025 Met Gala

Social media has been a buzz over the interesting outfits emerging from the 2025 Met Gala. Instead of adoring – or judging – anyone else, Stafford decided to go about things from another angle. She uploaded a video on Instagram where she critiqued past red carpet outfits … that she wore herself!

The three-time Daytime Emmy winner provided some “throwback” photos of herself, offering some hilarious commentary along the way, in the post. Her caption read, “In honor of the Met Gala… I’m taking you down my own road of hits and misses … #keepmichellehumble #comentarybyme”

Michelle Stafford’s Tough Love

In the video, Stafford can be heard saying (while pointing at a photo of herself from the Daytime Emmys, circa 2011), “This girl right here, and only I can say this—you need to eat a cheese sandwich.” She added, “I like the dress. I think Monique Lhuillier—it’s a wedding dress actually, but I like it.”

With that said, Stafford also offered some additional tough love, not only critiquing her outfit in one photo, but also the fact that she didn’t get her hair done for one of the events.

Still, Michelle’s red hair looked simple, but elegant, and sleek as it was nicely straightened.

Of course, some of Stafford’s soapy friends chimed in, in the comment section of the IG post! Former Days of Our Lives’ star Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe Lane) stated, “YOU’RE ALWAYS A HIT! Your beauty shines from the inside and out! Love you sis!”

Meanwhile, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan) wrote, “Always (fire emoji)!” Lastly, fellow Y&Rer, Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) stated, “All gorgeous!!”
