The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers seem to suggest that Eric Forrester (John McCook) is crossing a line that he shouldn’t cross.
That’s because his son Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) love life is none of his business.
Yet, he’s telling Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to run after Ridge because he is the love of her life, despite the fact that Ridge decided that he wanted to be with his other ex, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).
But during the most recent episode of the show, Eric told his son flat out that he needs to leave his girlfriend to be with his “destiny,” which he thinks is Brooke. Does father really know best?
As our fans can imagine, the internet had a lot to say about where this storyline is headed.
Some have even said, “Eric treats Ridge like a kid because Ridge acts like a kid. How many men live with their daddies? If it weren’t for Eric, Ridge would live off of Doc DoNothing or off of Brooke and her inventions.”
Another fan of the show wrote, “I mean, Brooke also has children with his father, so I’m always confused why the love of his life is also the woman that was sleeping with his father and has kids by his father.”
And then there was this comment as well: “She chose to have those kids and marry him. Even if he left her, just plain decency would be not to sleep and marry her ex-husband’s father.”
“Brooke has always been selfish. Case in point, hope conception. She was well aware that deacon was married to Bridget (Eric’s daughter and ridges adopted sibling).”
Of course, B&B fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

I am really tired of the Ridge, Taylor and Steffy story. Hoping when Nick returns, he will sweep Brooke off her feet, and give her the love that she really deserves.
Isn’t Taylor living at Eric’s so why would he undermine her like that and in front of the whole office. Good lord how long is Taylor supposed to be disrespected? Ridge picked Taylor so Brook doesn’t respect his decision so she keeps pawing him like an animal in heat and his father is all up in his business. Let the man grow up. This going back and forth only hurts Taylor and her children
