Even though Jake is in art school right now, there’s a good chance that he might go on a different path soon enough. In fact, he could even be a doctor since his great grandfather Steve Hardy was a doctor.
Danny, meanwhile, might become a PI like his mom was if he doesn’t end up doing the same thing as Jason. That, or he can be like his cousin Michael and go into the family business of ELQ, right?
Some fans have even commented on the matter with, “Jake is not like Jason so he is the soft/reactive/expendable character, while Danny is the ‘chip off the old block’ danger-seeking New Jason who will be pulled into mob work (unfortunately).”
Another fan wrote, “I have a feeling they took Jake off the board to recast him as older in the future and put him in the Joss/Trina/Gio/Emma age group.”
“It would be realistic to make him like a freshman, compared to them being in their Junior year (?) Since they aged Aiden up, I don’t think you can bring the current actor back without him looking like the younger brother.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Danny I think will be the guy who turns into the wealthy kid whose family connections get him out of anything and plans to be given ELQ to run one day so doesn’t take anything seriously because no matter what he thinks he is untouchable.”
