General Hospital spoilers say there’s a lot of speculation suggesting Spencer Cassadine might be coming back but of course, as a recast. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
It seems like the soap has struggled with the younger crowd ever since Spencer and Esme fell into the Seine.
Trina was sidelined for the better part of a year, Joss lost Dex and then was cordoned off on her WSB journey. They introduced Gio and Kai—likable but a lot of people would agree that they are mostly bland characters.
That’s why viewers think now would be the best time to bring Spencer back. As you can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some have even commented with, “We’ve already had two Spencer Trina triangles with Esme and Rory (three if you count Ace). I would love to see him back but he keeps his distance to respect what she has with Kai. At first, Trina tries to stay away from Spencer but she can’t help herself.”
“Cam should come back and create a triangle with Emma and Gio. Maybe this causes Joss to want to rekindle what she and Cam had.”
Another fan wrote, “I think they’re trying to establish Trina/Kai more before reintroducing Spencer. Make it a more even playing field because if you do it anytime soon, Trina would obviously run straight back to Spencer.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I think Kai still has potential—I think he’s boring because he’s a blank slate they haven’t written anything on yet, but there are plenty of ways to fill that up—but otherwise totally agree.”
‘Trina finally being over Spencer makes it the perfect time to bring him back, and you could bring one or more other Cassadines back on the canvas in the process, which the show could really use.”
