That’s because there’s heavy speculation suggesting Liam Spencer might soon be killed off the show.

However, Liam has always been a vital part of the soap, even though he wasn’t always the most likeable character. 

This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder what might be going on with the writers as they’ve given Eric Forrester a second chance but are so quick to kill off someone like Liam.

As many B&B fans can recall, it wasn’t too long ago that Eric was fighting for his life with a mysterious illness that no one could figure out. 

It was a Christmas miracle that no one saw coming as fans and viewers of the show really thought that Eric was dying and that it might have all had to do with actor John McCook’s decision to leave the show. But that never happened and Eric is still alive to this very day.

But with Liam, it looks like things are quite different. There’s speculation suggesting that actor Scott Clifton is looking to leave the show and that’s why the writers are willing to kill off his character.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For Liam Spencer?

However, fans have expressed their disappointment in the matter as they don’t think this is a good idea at all. Even if Scott doesn’t want to come back to the show, the producers should make room for another actor to come and take over the character from him.

After all, Liam Spencer is the ultimate “waffler.” He’s spent years going back and forth between Steffy Forrester and Hope Logan. As annoying as it might have been for fans, he did play an integral part of a lot of different storylines, too.

Then again, the writers might also be trying to make way for a new generation of characters by bringing in the new and getting rid of the old, so  to speak.

Now, whether or not Liam is actually going to leave remains to be seen. So far Scott Clifton has not made any comments about his future on the show but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details the moment that they come in. Watch this space for more.
