The Bold and the Beautiful fans have long said that they think there needs to be some major changes done to the cast and it looks like even critics agree.
In fact, for the longest time fans have said that Rebecca Budig has been horribly miscast as the new Taylor Hayes on the show. And that’s mostly because she looks like she’s almost the exact same age as her television daughter, Steffy Forrester.
Not only that, but it was hard for fans to take Rebecca’s version of Taylor seriously as a renowned therapist when she couldn’t give out her own problems in her love life.
As our readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some have even commented with, “This is a MUCH better fit for Taylor than Rebecca Budig. RB looks too young in all of her scenes but especially ones with KKL and JMW.”
“Stacy Haiduk has great chemistry with Thorsten Kaye too—she played his ex on AMC/the mother of his son Ethan Cambias.”
Another fan wrote, “I always thought she was beautiful but WHEW what a jump scare! I haven’t seen this woman since she was playing Patty on Y&R and I stopped watching that years ago.”
And then there was this comment as well: “No more new Taylors unless they actually allow her to have some fire, some spice…and maybe let her shoot someone.”
“I never cared for Taylor but at least she used to have that and I could see where Steffy gets a little bit of her spice from. She’s way more original Taylor/Stephanie. The current iterations of Taylor I don’t recognize at all.”
Of course, B&B fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
