The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, April 21, 2025, suggest that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will react to the news that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is dying.

John Finnegan’s Confession

In the next episode, fans can expect John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to finally arrive home. Finn had texted Steffy after Liam left the hospital against doctor’s warnings. Finn also let her know that the neurologists found a mass. It’s inoperable and Liam is beginning to die. 

Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Heartbreak

In a preview clip for next week, Steffy sobs on the couch as Finn tries to console her. Then, Steffy tells her husband that she’s made an important but tough decision. Steffy believes that the news about the brain tumor needs to come from her rather than a medical doctor. 

Steffy probably is predicting how Liam will react to the news. Steffy might think that the news will be handled better if it comes from her. However, just how is one supposed to react to learning they are on limited time?

Liam Spencer’s Denial

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Liam will reel over the news that he is dying. However, at some point, Liam refuses to accept the diagnosis.

The reasonable thing to do would be for Liam to seek a second or even a tenth opinion if he feels that strongly about it. In soaps, things don’t always make sense, though.

Since Liam is in denial, that means he could swear Steffy and everyone else to secrecy. This story has a similar feeling to the one about Eric’s fatal condition and visit to the Other Side. Will Liam ask Steffy to keep the truth from everyone, including Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle)?
