And that’s exactly what he’s doing as he’s been rather quiet about his relationship with his new girlfriend, Michelle Lundstrom.

It was back in 2004 that the handsome General Hospital star announced that he was in a relationship with the recipe maker after having been single for nearly two years.

As many of his fans can recall, Steve was forced to deny the rumors that his now ex-wife Sheree Burton was carrying their fourth child when she made her baby bump debut on social media. 

Steve went on the record to say that the child was not his and soon thereafter, he filed for divorce.

The actor has thankfully found love again, but because of all the online bullying that Sheree had endured and all of the speculation about his own personal life, Steve wants to make sure that he doesn’t make the same mistake twice.

That’s why he’s protecting Michelle and their relationship by keeping it out of the public eye for as much as possible. In fact, they rarely even write about one another on social media.

What’s Next For Steve Burton And Michelle Lundstrom?

Because he’s such a huge daytime television star, Steve knows that this is the best way to keep his relationship healthy and of course, happy.

He doesn’t want Michelle to deal with all the online drama that comes with dating a huge soap star like himself. He’s got enough drama on his hands in the fictional town of Port Charles that he plays in.

So far Steve Burton himself has not made any comments about the matter.
