General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, April 11 tease lies exposed, preventative measures, and a Mama Bear bares her fangs!

Emma Scorpio-Drake’s (Braedyn Bruner) lies are exposed, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) would like to take preventative measures, and Mama Bear Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) bares her fangs!

Lies Exposed

At home, Emma faces a harsh reality when her grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), erupts in anger, accusing her of lying about everything.

It appears that Anna has uncovered the truth behind Emma’s arrest in California, which is linked to her school activities. Anna insists on immediate answers, refusing to allow any more deception.

The gravity of what Anna has discovered suggests that Emma needs to be honest. Anna is not willing to accept any excuses or falsehoods from her granddaughter, and it seems she possesses the evidence to confront her directly.

Preventative Measures

Curtis meets with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) in her hospital office, aiming to take proactive steps. He warns Portia that if Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) manages to publicize “this story,” it could spell disaster for Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) career.

Boyle has been making a significant fuss about the mayor’s connection to Port Charles’ Mafia Don, in other words, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). It appears someone is playing hardball with public records, attempting to manipulate Laura into making a decision that aligns with Boyle’s interests.

Additionally, there’s the issue of the Esplanade at Pier 55, and it seems that  Boyle, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are all in on it together!

Alexis Finds Herself In Need Of A Lawyer

In the meantime, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finds herself in need of legal help and reaches out to someone to represent her.

This situation is likely tied to the blackmail scheme orchestrated by Ava Jerome (Maura West), who is threatening to expose a surveillance video of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).

The footage captures Kristina in the parking garage of Ava’s residence, where she mistakenly cuts the brake lines of Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) car, believing it to be Ava’s.

As Alexis seeks legal counsel, it’s clear that Ric, currently hospitalized, is not an option; while Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is her law partner, hiring her could present a conflict of interest.

Could Alexis be considering Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), their new employee, instead?

Josslyn’s Confusion Needs Clearing Up

Still outside, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has some inquiries for her WSB handler, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee).

They had previously discussed the WSB’s efforts to help Josslyn re-enroll at Port Charles University, but this time in a completely different field of study. Vaughn mentioned being under the supervision of a Professor Dalton (uncredited)-Josslyn appears puzzled and questions whether that was the reason for her recruitment.

It makes sense that if a professor is under WSB investigation, a current student at the same university might be brought in to gather information.

However, Josslyn will likely need to dedicate a lot of time to her studies to ensure she is seen as nothing more than a regular student!

Sasha And Jason Continue Their Conversation

Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are deep in conversation, with Sasha revealing her decision to move out of the Quartermaine mansion.

Jason, however, seems quite invested in her staying and makes a significant fuss about it. When she questions him about his strong desire for her to remain, it becomes clear that there might be an important reason behind his feelings.

Sasha is set to form a bond with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), which holds great significance for Jason. After losing his mother a few months back, he could really benefit from having a “big sister” figure in his life.

Mama Bear Bares Her Fangs!

Meanwhile, at Drew’s residence, Carly is fiercely protective, embodying the spirit of a mama bear, leaving Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) visibly rattled! She steps in close, confronting Willow directly, and exclaims, “If he can’t be here to stand up for them, then I will!” Carly is referring to Michael Corinthos (most recently Chad Duell) and his children, Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity Mork Macko).

Carly is determined not to allow Willow to raise her grandchildren in Drew’s home, especially considering Drew is the uncle who took Michael’s wife.

It seems she might even consider fighting for sole custody as their grandmother—oh dear, this situation is bound to escalate!
