The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Claire Disappears & Chance Blames Summer?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) could wind up MIA and the suspect list is not long thanks to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) saying a nasty comment to lawman Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

In Y&R’s April 7 episode, Chance cuts to the chase and says the obvious: Summer is jealous about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) hooking up with Clair.

Chance’s Suspicions

Summer tries to deflect but Chance is a detective after all! Finally he convinces her that its ok to admit her feelings about Kyle’s romance.

And once the dam bursts, there is no holding Summer’s opinions back. She goes off on Kyle and Claire but Chance is happy that she’s finally facing her feelings.

Claire was a Bad Girl

It seems that Summer remembers the way Claire came to town and almost became a family assassin. Summer thinks everyone has gone lenient about Claire’s crimes, and this is scandalous. She’s not sure he trusts Claire to remain level headed.

And, since Summer is on a roll, she claims that sometimes she wants Claire vanish. That’s quite a sentiment and Chance is surprised at Summer’s ferocity. It’s one thing to dislike someone, anther entirely to wish they would go missing.

Is Summer Culpable?

Should Summer be talking like this to an officer of the law? Chance won’t forget how Summer went off on Claire and as soap fans know, when one character wishes another character gone, they usually end up missing.

Are we about to see Claire go missing? Do you think that Summer’s comment was random or did the show just dropping a hint about what’s coming for Claire?

After all, kidnapping seems par for the course these days in Genoa City. Maybe Summer will get the bright idea to do to Claire what happened to her mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

Or, maybe something is about to happen to Claire and Summer has nothing to do with it.
