Even though Jason has been spending more screen time with Carly, there are a lot of fans of the show who agree that the two characters simply lack chemistry. A lot of viewers of the soap were hoping that Jason would focus on being a good father after the death of Sam, but instead it seems like he’s still acting like Carly and Sonny’s servant.

For a moment, it seemed like Jason was putting his family first, but he’s now going in a different direction, and that’s more towards Carly. Not only that, but a lot of fans are also not too happy with his involvement with Sasha, either. This has prompted a lot of people to wonder: what gives?

It goes without saying that General Hospital fans on the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some have even commented with, “While I would love for Jason to break away from Sonny, he is NOT Carly or Sonny’s servant. This is the life he wanted and chose for himself and all the women he has loved and had children with knew this. Domesticated Jason would be boring and he already is doing his bit by moving back into the Qs for Danny.”

General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Jason?

Another critic wrote, “When they tried to pair Carly and Jason by marrying them after Sonny supposedly died, there was no romantic chemistry.”

“The early days with Sarah Brown there were tons but not with Laura Wright. They need to just be friends. As for Sasha threatening Sidwell, I’m ok with that. He’s a monster that tried to kill her and she needs to flaunt that backbone.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Sasha should have stayed with a random guy story. She wouldn’t be in the spotlight of carrying a Quartermaine.  I think the writers are trying to show Jason can be both a great dad and be there for his long time friends.”

With that said, General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
