General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, April 4 tease wake up calls, recovery roads, and settling disagreements.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) attempts wake up calls, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) discusses her recovery road, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) attempt to settle disagreements.

Accusations Traded

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are back at it, exchanging heated accusations. Curtis had previously offered Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) some guidance regarding a procedure that Drew insisted he would cover, given that his insurance wouldn’t.

This led Curtis to confront Drew about potentially misleading Kai; it seems they are revisiting that topic.

Drew, visibly furious, exclaims, “Leave Kai out of this!” But why should anyone exclude Kai from a situation that directly involves him?

Trina Has Her Doubts

Kai and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are engaged in a conversation that suggests Kai is relaying Curtis’ caution regarding the operation. However, the warning was primarily about Drew, despite Kai also discussing the operation with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) after his talk with Curtis.

Portia provided him with valuable insights and encouraged him to inform his parents, emphasizing the importance of keeping them in the loop.

Trina appears to have conflicting emotions about Kai’s revelations, expressing her skepticism by saying it’s quite difficult to believe!

Wake Up Calls

Ava has arrived at the hospital to see Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), who is currently unconscious. With a worried expression, she repeatedly urges him, “You need to wake up.” As she waits, Ava is about to receive some startling news—will it just be an update about the accident, or will Ric share something significant when he regains consciousness?

Ric has suffered a severe head injury, and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) , in his conversation with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), expressed uncertainty about when he might awaken.

It’s possible that Ava learns about the investigation into the crash and discovers that his brake lines were tampered with, leading her to realize that she was the intended target.

Recovery Roads

In a different room at GH, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is visiting Elizabeth, who appears to be facing a longer recovery journey than she anticipated. He watches her with concern as she expresses her worries about the challenges ahead.

Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) has been waiting for her to regain consciousness so he can perform the necessary surgery on her fractured leg.

Given her background as a nurse, Elizabeth is likely well-informed about the situation and realizes that this type of injury could require months of rehabilitation.

While it may not be as arduous as Curtis’s experience of relearning to walk, much will depend on the specifics of her fracture.

Settling Disagreements

Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are working through their differences, but Jason realizes that Carly has a challenging journey ahead. She might soon discover that her naive trust in Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) is misplaced.

This is Jason’s perspective, and even Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) cautioned him about Brennan and Carly, mentioning that she was not the intended target of the polonium.

Carly firmly insists that Jason should have faith in her judgment, claiming that Jack poses no danger to her. However, Jason remains skeptical—he has witnessed too much evidence to support the opposite view.

Brennan’s Meeting He Kept Secret From Carly-It’s With Her Daughter!

During their lunch, Brennan informed Carly that he needed to meet someone for WSB business; when she inquired about the identity of the person, she then said she was kidding.

However, if she were aware of who he was meeting, she might understand that Jason and Lucas were correct in their suspicions about Brennan. Even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sensed something was amiss and shared his concerns with Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Brennan is currently speaking with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), questioning her commitment to her account of recent events, which could be a final assessment to elevate her to full agent status.

Or, he might be discussing her involvement in the death of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), an event he witnessed but chose not to intervene in!
