Soap Fans Are Upset With Tamara Braun: ‘Such A Shame!’

It was announced earlier in the week that Tamara, who was best known for her role as Ava Vitali, would be leaving this fictional town of Salem.

And while there was some speculation suggesting that Tamara had one foot out at DOOL but another foot in at General Hospital, that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. This has left a lot of fans quite upset as they believed that Tamara was a vital part of the show.

As our loyal readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some have even commented with, “How does this happen? She had chemistry with every scene partner they gave her. There are so many other characters they could send away that none of us would miss. Brady needed something solid, like Ava.”

“She had her redemption arc, she had established friendships with unlikely characters like Roman and Steve. I hope they bring her back. They’d be stupid not to, but then again Days hasn’t been making the best decisions in the last few years.”

Another fan wrote, “Such a shame. She’s a good actress and she seemed to like working at Days. They softened Ava and got a little lost with what to do with her. When she is strong and spunky, she’s good.”

“She’s not the victim. I thought she and Brady had some chemistry, so why they dropped it so Brady could be with Fiona was beyond me. And yes, it gave Brady a viable love interest. Kristen has NO redeeming qualities in this form. I hope they bring Ava back but it sounds like she’s fading to the back burner which is a shame.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Does this mean she’s the one who shoots EJ? BIG mistake IMO. They should have given her more to do and brought back Tripp. She was good with Brady and it would have been fun to get rid of Kristen and have Ava negotiating being Rachel’s step mom.”
